In this fan-fiction novel, Toby the Tram Engine finds himself and a few others of Sodor's oldest contraptions as the special attraction for the reopening of the long-abandoned Ulfstead Castle. Meanwhile, Toby and his friends from the branchline try their best to aid Jack MacQuoid, the head of the castle's renovation project, with his struggles against some conspiratorial forces and their plot to sabotage the reconstruction before Sodor Day.
