after dealing with a traumatic breakup and the events of season 2, (y/n) henderson and her brother dustin go to summer camp. they return in season 3 of stranger things and begin cracking a russian code with the help of (y/n)'s long-term best friend, robin buckley and dustin's best friend, steve harrington.

it becomes apparent that (y/n) and steve have romantic feelings for one another and that they have for quite some time, they've just been unwilling to admit it. will they both be able to get over their relationship traumas and get out of the hands of the russians and the mind flayer before they lose one another for good?
