Evalyne Broker isn't perfect, but try telling that to anyone who knew her in the small town she grew up in. Her friends think the world of her: a sassy, bold, and beautiful leader to their friend group. Evalyne is the girl who can call the shots and drink them without a chaser. Her boyfriend thinks she's a mystery he can't wait to unravel: smoldering gray eyes that are always cast elsewhere, with pouty pink lips and an hourglass frame he can't wait to explore one day. Teachers are weary of her smart remarks and flippant attitude, but her dance instructor adores her technique and devotion to ballet.
With so many eyes on her, it's hard to imagine that one day Evalyne name disappears from everyone's lips as she's never seen again. Life for Evalyne completely changes from one in the spotlight to one cast into the darkest pits of Hell. After blacking out at a party, Evalyne wakes up only to find herself locked in cell, waiting to be sold to the highest bidder.
As time goes, she tries to remember who she is & what (or who) led her to this cruel turn of fate, while trying to survive the horrors to come.
