"Y'know, you seem like a cat.." Ajax tilted his head slightly as he spoke, looking down at the smaller person who was dragging him off a beach in Inazuma. His ears and tails resembled those of a fox, but his personality spoke otherwise.
"..I am not a cat." His tone seemed harsh. He was a kitsune. Anything but a cat.

When Raiden Ei created Kunikuzushi, she created him with the body of a kitsune. She knew that with both a human form, as well as the features and power of a kitsune, this prototype had a chance to hold the true power he was meant for.
She seemed disappointed as the boy shed a tear.
"...You, are weak. You are unworthy of my power."

Ajax's father wasn't exactly the fondest towards his mother, hence why she was unloyal to their marriage. It was also why Ajax had been born with the ears and tail of a wolf. He'd always say, "Mom has a thing for gingers, I guess!" Just to tease his father. Which only pissed him off more. When he came back from running off and falling into the Abyss, his father threw him onto a boat- a boat with no particular destination. That's how he ended up in Inazuma.
