No one knew about his powers except for his best friends Iskall and Mumbo. He often had nightmares about the night that Mumbo died. On his travels, Iskall was killed by an ambush of robbers. Grian felt guilty for not protecting his friend and letting Iskall end up like Mumbo. So he decided to go to the Drè Kingdom for a new start. A before Prince Dream's coronation, he met the Drè Kingdom's crown prince and a piglin hybrid.
