"You're right," he says emotionlessly, staring at me with an unfamiliar glint in in his eyes. "I don't care."

My glare begins to deepen. "Good."

He steps closer, studying me intensely. "I don't care that you think I'm crazy for wanting you," he says, stepping even closer, and my back hits the wall behind me. "Nor do I care that you want me to give up on you. Because I won't."

"I don't need you." I growl at him, scowling, when he tries to cage me. I push him away, with a finger to his chest. "I never did. Never will. All I've got is myself and that's the only bitch I can trust."

Skyler Montgomery hasn't had it easy in her eighteen years of living.

With an absentee mother, who fled, when she was just a kid, and left her with her father, Skyler is just fighting, drinking, and smoking her way through the year. With, of course, her best and only friend, North.

But when she pushes her father's last button, he decides to send her away with her biological mother in Idaho to a boarding school for delinquents.

And then she meets Daesyn.

Things just go downhill from there.
