'The largest egg in mountain high, will give to you the wings of sky.' We all know how the SkyWing egg was lost right? Well, in this world, what if the SkyWing egg didn't shatter? What if the dragonet inside it actually survived? What if the SkyWing was hidden in a deep pit with only a sick IceWing guardian to take care of? After ten years, when the war of the SandWing Succession has finally come to a glorious ending and the Eye of Onyx has crowned Thorn as their new SandWing queen, Soaren, the surviving SkyWing, has been having trouble living in the pit for ten years all his life. He wanted to see the world. He wanted the sun to finally touch his scales. He wanted to spread his wings freely. His very, very large wings. When his IceWing guardian was about to die of SandWing venom, Soaren was determined to save him by travelling to the Rainforest, where he heard he could retrieve the cure for the venom. It would have been easier than going to the Sand Kingdom. But as Soaren flies through his journey, he meets a peculiar dragon as he passes the Sea Kingdom and some interesting dragons while he stays in the Rainforest. However, a strange occurrence happened at Jade Mountain. He and a few friends try to solve the mystery, gathering up all the clues while the SkyWing wonders if he should go back to his guardian. Soaren had hid his true identity as the 'lost' SkyWing, but he needs to eventually open up. With the NightWings in the Rainforest, more mind readers will be born and they'll find out who he is. But worst of all, he'll have to face something far more terrible than anyone could have imagined... This a story based on the book series Wings Of Fire, obviously. In this universe, most of the canon events didn't happen, and are instead replaced by my own original stories and characters. No canon characters from the books exist in this world. There is at least one fantribe in this world, that fantribe belonging to me. Mud'wings don't exist in this world, because i have an unexplained hatred for them. WARNINGS: • Violence + blood • May contain explicit / aggresive language / Mild swearing, etc. • May contain character death / drama, etc. You may: • Draw fanart of the characters. • Write about the characters. A 1000 years after the end of the Pyrrhian war stopped by the 5 prophesized dragonets a new prophecy was delivered. Now 6 new dragonets are destined to save Pyrrhia from a devastating disaster, a master volcano which wiped out a big part of the population, but how do they stop a natural disaster? There must be something, or someone behind it. Viper and his friends are forced to be introduced to the real world were they find out that it is a brutal world to survive in. Will Viper and his friends learn how to be harsh and claw their way to the top, or will they be pushed down and join the wiped out population, and find out the harsh truth? (Hey! This story is an unofficial 4th arc to the original wings of fire series. There are 5 books planned in this unofficial sequel to our beloved wings of fire. I would like to give huge credits to Tui.Sutherland for coming up with the wings of fire and its universe where this book takes place in, and for giving me the first book series that could entertain me for hours on end. FYI this book was originally drafted when I was much younger so spelling and punctuation mistakes are inevitable, I tried to catch them out but I am just unable to see mistakes in my own writing, so apologies for that. These books will be more gory than the original WoF series but still acepptable for readers above 13, they are kind of meant to be for people a bit older than what was intended with the original WoF. I will and am trying my best to keep the writing style and lore close to how Tui. writes it to make it feel more like you are reading a real continuation of her books.
