I wish I was born before the plague. Before the fires and war. But I wasn't. I was born smack dab in the middle of it. Theres two sides to this fight. The Regime- King Richard and his consul run that. and then there's the secret Rebellion. They know what the capital did and they plan to stop it from happening again. The rebellion is so secret only the king and consul know about it. Then theres me. Maeve Thompson. My father is King Richard. I know what he did. And I plan to stop it before it happens again. Even if it means starting WW4. Even if it means joining the rebels. ------------------------------------------- I wish I didn't live where I am now. I wish everything was simpler. I wish my mother was alive, along with the rest of the planet. I wish the Regime did not try to take over. I wish my family and friends weren't constantly in danger because of it. My name is Ryn Evans. My father is the head of the revolution. My mother is dead and my brother is one of the other Heirs to the revolution. We call ourselves The Voice. We will win this war.
