The hope that humanity could one day pose a fight against the titans is for the cushioned. For the ones who have nothing to worry about but stupid ideologies because their day-to-day isn't an even worse uncertainty every living second.
Rosario isn't cushioned. Living in the city of Tamashi, where the sunlight never strikes and the Royals never acknowledge, titans are just a faraway thought. She's too busy worrying about surviving today, like to hope for the future.
But when her sketchy survival tactics have her coming face-to-face with the infamous Scout Regiment, she's forced to fight for her life again, but for a whole new reason. One bloody, macabre, bone-chilling reason.
