He then shortly discovers that he's a Hydro Adept who plays an important role in a war that has gone on for centuries. Now Reece has to fight to survive and fulfill his destiny before all of mankind falls under darkness...but the pressure is just too much for him.

The boy was tall, his face boyish, his stance non-threatening but an air of dread surrounded him nonetheless. He was pretty, objectively. Strong but lithe. He looked up, meeting her eyes. She looked at him impassively, and his eyes darkened as he took her in. Clearly, he saw something that piqued his interest in the same way hers had been piqued.
