Audrey Parker grew up in Boston and worked at the DA's office during her last semester of law school as a secretary. After engaging in an affair with her married boss, Andy Barber she gets her heart broken when he tells her he can't get a divorce. So she does the only thing she thinks she can do to get over him, move away. 
Now she's back in Boston almost 5 years later and finds out Andy is divorced and looking to get engaged to a new woman that isn't her. 

Andy thought he had missed out on the woman he thought was the love of his life when he broke her heart. Now she's waltzed back into his life when he thought he had moved on, but seeing her again just resurfaces the same old feelings.
