Hello, so if you have seen this before I made any changes it is clear I have changed how this goes. So I realized the last time I ever opened this or posted something was around 2022 October, and taken from my lost update on the description the last part I had ever updated was back in early 2023 after I lost two people I had known fairly well, one being a family member. So I have decided to continue this, I had said my mental health was the reason I stopped but let's be honest, who the hell is gonna have good mental health and be on Wattpad at the same time, I have decided to go for this again. I might not keep the original plot, Im might depending on how bipolar I wanna be. The cover is old art of mine, I will not be changing it but my art style isn't even close to that anymore.
This was originally an AU based on the show LEGO Monkie Kid and the AU was about The Six Eared Macaque losing his hearing due to a mistake The Great Sage Sun Wukong had made after a mini mission with his successor MK. This was also supposed to be like some kind of slow burn but I don't want this to turn out as an enemies to lovers, maybe later but this is more as enemies to friends and maybe questioning stage. I was also shocked to see that a lot of the people reading this were above the age of 18, really forgetting the fandom's age range sometimes and not everyone watching is going to be under the age of 17 like I am. I hope this was a nice little update and that my grammar is a tad bit better in the actual update, this will not have frequent chapters, and I will not have a set schedule like some, where it's every week or month, this is when I get random little bursts of energy.

[ON HOLD] "You wouldn't get it, Kid. She was someone who went through a life line of pain just for a single purpose of protecting another." Sun Wukong sighed, letting his feet dangle off the edge of the ship, the wind was harshly blowing against him. Even when the ship was sitting still, the deserts wind was still harsh. Mk, sensing a new story to learn, sat down next to his mentor with excitement. Only when he saw the somber look did he realize the weight this story had on him. "Um... Who is she again?" Mk asked, rubbing the back of his neck, looking backwards to the rest of the crew. Sun Wukong grumbled words before shaking his head with a sigh. "Someone that I had accidentally mistreated." Mk turned back around as the rest of the crew got closer to listen in on Wukongs story. His tail was carefully tucked next to him as he rested his head in a palm. "She was just trying to do her job, but slowly her friends fell one by one. They were driven to insanity from the burden their job held. She was the strongest one, and she was the last to fall. She succumbed to her power, and it slowly ran through her. All I can say is that the last thing that remained of her was a pile of ash." Wukong slowly pulled a small looking urn. (Fem. reader) My name's Y/n, and before my life changed drastically in some good and bad ways, I was a normal person. My only comfort was watching the Lego Monkie Kid, my comfort show. It was the only thing that got me to smile, laugh, and cry when I felt lonely. All I want is just to be loved. Love is all I want. One day, another boring and lonely day at school, the bell had rung, signaling the end of the day. I got excited for it because I was finally gonna watch LMK season 5, but I saw a group of bullies messing with an innocent person, so I stepped in to help the person, but in the process, I was pushed down the stairs, causing my neck to snap, and I died. I thought I was dead dead, but I woke up as a baby, not just any baby, a baby monkey demon, and you wanna know who my dad was? Sun Wukong the Monkey King from LMK. I didn't know what to feel, but all I knew was that I got reincarnated a little ways before the Brotherhood attacked the Celestial Realm. Just like some reincarnation stories, I wasn't able to stop it, but as time went on, I went on this LMK journey, becoming friends with MK and the others, I think I even gained a crush. But what I've been wanting in my past life and this life was love.
Lost in Chaos
Macaque sets out on a journey to find answers about his powers, and information on the Nine Headed Demon before MK and the others get hurt. Through his journey he encounters many leads, friends, and enemies. Macaque has to fight not only demons on his journey, but inner demons as well. Will Macaque become, Lost in Chaos? --- This story takes place directly after the events of season 5 in LMK. --- This story will have blood in it, as well as angst. It will dive into the pasts of Macaque and Wukong. As well as the pasts of the Nine Headed Demon. Characters from both the book and the show will appear in this, as well as some from Chinese mythology. The story has a slow progression but one you don't want to miss! This is intended as a YA Fiction. --- There is a prologue for those who haven't watched the show, or read the book, in chapter 1! Besides, you live halfway across the city and you have training with your mentor, this isn't something you couldn't just throw away with ease.
