Rumor says he and his crew only act as pirates during the day while the parties every night are a mere facade to hide their obscurity.

But all of those just remain rumors not until a maiden of his past gets stranded on their ship. She presents him a request which he declines. In return, she threatens him to reveal what lies behind the skeleton of their jolly roger.

In the fear that the revelation will tarnish his real job, he reconsiders her request while thinking at the same time, how to silence her even if it means throwing away their wounded past. 

No one shall know who he is. The seven seas shall never know that Captain Hookshot is not a pirate.
