Finn is the Alpha's son. Narcissa is the Beta's daughter. They both hate each other. It was a well known fact.
Fourteen years after Narcissa had moved to be with her mother's pack, it's suddenly announced she's coming back.
Not only does Finn hate it, remembering her is bringing back memories he wished he could forget.
The worst thing they found out upon Narcissa's return is that they're mates. If they want to make it work, they have to sort through years of trauma and bad decisions.
However, when things in their pack start getting strange, how do two people who can barely save their own relationship save their whole pack?
[ Please note that this is a rewritten version of the previous Bête Noire story I had written previously. You can find the original, uncompleted version on my page. The story at first was something simple and lighthearted that I was making just as a test novel. However, after getting into the story, I realized it was a lot darker than I had intentionally planned, and wanted to start over to try to capture how the story should be told. The moon pack lost their Luna eleven years ago and the loss of her still impacts them all. Especially her three children and her mate. Luca the future alpha of the pack has black hair with a white streak in it, his wolf is black with a white tail tip. Daniel is short with brown hair and is wolf is a reddish brown. Tia has long black hair and like Luca has a white streak her wolf is also black but her white streak is over her left eye. Their father Alpha Thomas is plump and old his once black hair is now grey, he's wolf was pure black but he has lost his wolf due to the death of his mate. Luna Natalie, is tall, thin and she has curly grey hair. Matthew is tall muscly and strong, he has blonde hair his wolf is Golden.
