Its been a long time, since Luzs mother died. She sent Luz to camp, but passed away while Luz was gone. She was bullied. Relentlessly. Though she was eventually found and adopted by the woman she now considers a mom. Escaping the torture of her old town, finding peace in a new house. Shes made her friends, and has slowly moved past her old scars, though shes never really told anyone about her past.
