The most recently discovered Dragonborn, Deviihnture The Knight, has placed his life in the hands of a prophecy. Sworn to erase the dragon menace terrorizing his homeland, he journeys across the map to build his knowledge on the thu'um, the dragon tongue, in order to defeat Alduin, a dragon deity and world eater predestined to destroy civilization.
In his efforts to defeat Alduin, Deviihnture is faced with staggering dilemmas that begin to tear his life apart. With Skyrim on the brink of war, Deviihnture has to decide whether or not to steer his attention to the battlefield or to the skies. However, he cannot save both.
This series is dedicated to those who took interest in my writing on Bethesda's most famous release, Skyrim.
I will upload as frequently as I can, but as a word of caution, I graduate Uni in December, so my palette is a bit full until then. But I will try to upload bi-weekly or weekly!
Deirdre Morningsong returns to Skyrim seeking vengeance on the Nords who murdered her parents, only to be captured by Imperial soldiers who mistake her for a Stormcloak rebel. After escaping both the Imperial dungeons and the destructive return of the dragon Alduin, she resolves to discover what strange power is within her, and what the dragons have to do with it.
Follows the main quest lines of the game, weaving them into a story of adventure and romance, with numerous twists on the canon. I'm hoping it's equally enjoyable for those who've played the game and those who haven't.
Trigger warnings: rape is mentioned, one is attempted and prevented, but none are completed. Some other sexual assault.
The first chapters are PG-13, but later ones become R-rated. (Feedback on appropriate ratings appreciated.)

I've only posted Part I here, but will soon post the rest (four parts total, 62 chapters).
I've worked in nonfiction up to now because it's easier for me to describe places and events I can experience first-hand. I'm hoping that writing this fanfic will be a bridge to doing more of my own fiction.
