This story is based on the true story of a girl who died every day. Well at least she believes so. Beatrice a 17 year old high school girl with dreams to live and become a somebody. Mean while Augustus  the 17 year old with a dream to become famous and an impact on the world. As Gus and Tris try everyday to live life and become famous their works collide and they meet people  who change both of their lives till one day a terrible accident leaves Beatrice and Augustus on the edge of life.
