Warning contains spoilers from season 6a
Kara, who has been stuck in the Phantom Zone for several months and is slowly losing hope, is finally rescued by her family. When she gets into the spaceship, she immediately flies to Alex and hugs her tightly. Everyone is happy to have Kara back and hopes that everything can return to normal, as it always was.
But when Kara's and Lena's eyes meet, they realize that a lot has changed, and they still have to clarify a lot.
(It's almost all like the real Supergirl series, with the difference that Kara didn't meet her father and Nyxlygsptlnz in the Phantom Zone).
It is of course a Supercorp fan fiction. I hope you like it :)

I'm a hard supercorp fan and I was sad and disappointed that by the time I got to the last episode it didn't magically turn the queer baiting into pure lesbianism, so I've decided to do it myself. She's to take care of their youngest daughter Lena, who's been forced to move back in with her mother after a devastating explosion at her job, causing multiple fatalities and her brother's incarceration, nearly killed her too. That's been a year ago and physically, Lena is fine, but she has a severe depression and needs someone to look after her. That's where Kara comes in. During her time with the Luthor's she slowly finds out there's a little more going on, though. Kara's feelings towards girls were punishable by death, much like some countries on Earth. So. when she was old enough to understand the risk of loving who she wanted, she suppressed her feelings and convinced herself that she loved boys. On Earth, years later, she meets someone who makes it impossible to ignore her feelings, but she has never made her feel as amazing as Lena Luthor. Lena Luthor was raised in a home where you could be beaten for simply looking at someone. She didn't bother with love or figuring out her feelings about all of her friends. It just wasn't important. When she moved away and her brother was put in jail, she assumed that she was attracted to men. She didn't know otherwise. But when she met Kara Danvers, every thought she ever had about being straight was proven wrong. This was what love felt like. Facing danger at every turn of their relationship, Lena and Kara are determined to beat the odds.
