Even though he may be God's pet, he still suffers from problems, like not getting any girls or his severe social anxiety. He travels across the land and clears dungeons with his party members to become the strongest. Through his journey, he uncovers the once sinister past of the world and bridges the gap between mortal and immortal.

To be clear, he only really cares about fame and money. The whole saving the world stuff is just a by-product of the whole hero shenanigans. But when stuff hits the fan, he's there to turn the fan off.
