For a child who grew up from a horribly strict and authoritarian politician parents, being out of the cage is like winning the lottery. And for a morally aware person who has been enduring a life with an evil family, abandoning their home is like getting out of a hellhole.

Zara is the remaining heir to the clan of Benavidez, a family greatly known for their enormous wealth and established image in the food and manufacturing industry. She has the life that everyone dreams of living. She has everything a person could ever want, all the luxuries, and a beautiful and loving family.

But what people don't know is that the beautiful and loving family they see is actually just a facade, concealing all the evilness and ugliness inside. When the zombie outbreak occurred, Zara immediately took the chance to experience and discover the real essence of life. She left everything behind and completely disconnected herself from her family.

At last, she is finally free. 

She can now do everything that she was not able to do before because of the restrictions of her parents. She can now live her life and experience being in love, something that she has always dreamed to experience. 

However, life is no longer the same for everyone. There is fighting and killing everywhere. Zara wanted to experience a great life but now that she has seen the current state of life, she realized she won't be able to survive all by herself.

But then she meets Dannis and all her hopes were restored.

Together with the other survivors, they fought and killed both the infected and the noninfected who have all gone wicked.
