Audrey's life is shattered when her mom is killed during a convenience store robbery that goes awry. Heartbroken, she finds herself moving to Toronto to live with an aunt she never knew existed. There, Audrey tries to make amends with her past while attempting to fit in with her aunt's dysfunctional family and figure out who she can trust. What she doesn't plan on is Blake Rider, a boy with a broken past and a beautiful voice. The two become fast friends over their shared love for old music. But Audrey still gets echoes of her past and what she doesn't realize is that the person that destroyed her life might be closer to her than she thinks.

This story sucks, don't read it! It's amazing how quickly your life can change. In a slow town like this, where nothing exciting ever happens, where nothing ever changes, one single moment can alter your life forever, for better, or for worse. Sometimes, we're lucky enough to be able to recognise these particular moments, and take a leap of faith, but, more times than not, they just happen without us even realizing what's going on until it's already too late. Tonight, a simple Saturday night, just like any other, would turn out to be one of the most defining moments of my life. Ace is living a slow life, knowing nothing other than drinking with his friends and the motorcycle club that raised him, waiting to reconnect with his father who has just been released from prison after a fifteen year sentence. Life is simple, though he thought. Until the night he meets Jenna, running from her haunting past and the man that she is desperately trying to escape. Ace is dead set on protecting Jenna, but, as she slowly learns to trust him enough to open up to, he finds himself landing in the middle of a human trafficking operation and a feud that goes way back, between the ringleader and his club. Suddenly, life doesn't seem so simple... Work in progress, especially the blurb! This story has content which may offend some readers. Mild coarse language! Physical and sexual violence! Lots of drug references! First draft! I don't own the cover image! I'm a disappointment to my family!

With Grayson's sudden absence from her life, Mia tries her hardest to carry on as normal; to continue as though she had never met the man who turned her world upside down in only a short amount of time. With the help of her best friend Hailey, and growing fonder of her colleague Anderson, it seems that she may be picking up the pieces of her once shattered life and moving on. But there's only so long she can mask the pain, and when the memories of Grayson grow stronger and the agony of a broken heart only intensifies, Mia will go to any lengths to regain Grayson's attention, despite the fact he is now nowhere to be seen. But is the risk of this flawed love really one Mia should be taking? This is book 2 of the Shadows and Stars series! Enjoy! ~ ⚠️ WARNING - This novel contains mature and violent graphic content, and also elements of drug use.
