Ever since Harry Potter and Draco Malfoy had come to Number Four, Privet Drive for the summer, the Dursleys had been so mean and hideous that all the boys wanted to do was get back to Hogwarts. 

But then, an old friend of Draco's pays the duo a visit, bearing a warning that Harry Potter must not return to Hogwarts; that their second year will be even more dangerous than their first.

And dangerous it is: in Harry's and Draco's second year, they meet an outrageously stuck-up new professor, a spirit who haunts the girls' bathroom, and they keep running into people after they've been Petrified.
