Being the Allfather's daughter came with consequences, especially when only a select few knew her as Eir Odindottir the Goddess of Health and Mercy.

To everybody else she was a formidable Valkyrie.

She was the Valkyrie who made the most difficult decisions in who lived and died on the battlefield, choosing who was beyond healing and whose time came to move on to the halls of Valhalla.

The time eventually came where Eir decided she wanted to learn more than what was taught in Asgard, so she began travelling the Nine Realms.

Always making sure to return home, and visit her brothers. Though, come the nineteenth century, Eir chose to make Midgard her permanent home.

Befriending Doctor Abraham Erskine, and being the inspiration behind the super solider serum was never in the plan, but what can she do?

She has managed to control her powers it feels like everything in her screwed-up life is slowly piecing itself back together. But HYDRA has different plans, they want their project back because their client is becoming impatient, and they will do anything to try and retrieve what is theirs. But the constant fear of HYDRA taking her back and controlling her life again, as well as hurting those she loves, is taking a toll on Emily as she battles with her inner demons. -.-.-.- "Things won't ever be normal for us Em." Tony smiled, clearly struggling to keep his voice steady as he hopped off his chair to kneel in front of me, taking my scarred hands in his rough ones. "Having you in our lives makes it more of an adventure. We wouldn't ever want you to leave, you are one of us okay? You're like a daughter to me, to all of us - hey, why are you crying?" "I'm sorry." I sniffled, roughly wiping the tears off my cheeks before I let him wrap me up in a hug. "I just never felt like belonged anywhere before and to hear you say that... it just means a lot to me." "Well, it's true Emily." Bruce smiled back as he put his hand on my shoulder as I kept my head buried into Tony's chest, saturating his shirt with my tears. "So don't ever think otherwise, okay?" -.-.-.- I do not own any of the Marvel characters in this book except for Emily. All ideas are purely my own. -.-.-.- WARNINGS: This books contains violence, severe mental health issues (including suicide) and coarse language that a certain Steve Rogers wouldn't approve of. -.-.-.- HIGHEST RANKINGS: #2 hydraexperiment - 23.01.24 #4 adoptedbyavengers - 23.01.23

She hated him with everything she had. He had betrayed her, and in doing so, she was stripped of her title, and banished to another realm. She had spent years, trying to find a way back, to exact her revenge, and luck came in, seeing the news about Lokis attack on the city. Knowing that Thor would return one day, she set about making plans to get her revenge. She wanted him to feel how she felt, to strip him of everything important to him, starting with his new family, the so called 'heroes', and then return to Asgard, and drive her blade through Odins chest. He never treated her like a daughter, no. She was a trophy, a prize that he used to lure the realms in to signing treaties with him. Then announcing that her hand can be won in a battle, she had enough. All she ever wanted, was to be loved, to be seen as more than just a pawn in Odins games. The only one who ever truly loved her, was Loki. The two outcasts, only had each other. But when Thor had found out, that Loki was planning on helping her to escape, he had gone straight to Odin. **** Watching, and waiting would all be worth it, and she smiled, looking around the room, knowing he was there with the Avengers. He would soon know her pain, and she would relish in it.
