Emily's life is kind of falling apart. Her ex was abusive and when she left, she didn't get to take anything with her. She is now back in her hometown, friendless, broke, and got nowhere to go. This is where John comes in. They know each other since high school but had fallen out of touch. John doesn't want to get involved and was just trying to be a nice guy, now he has turned Emily's new room, unwillingly. Will this be able to work out with both of them having two different backgrounds, work schedules and personalities. One stubborn and refusing help, while the other a bit egotisical and brash. All this while sharing one bedroom.

New relationships should be carefree and fun; but Nicole and Niall are not feeling the heat; so, why not a romantic weekend away to test the waters of this slow-moving relationship? Niall has just the place, a waterfront beach house just a few hours' drive away which he invested in with a group of his oldest friends from college. But things take a drastic turn when their private escape has them face to face with one of those friends who clearly has a tumultuous past with Nic. Will they be able to convince Niall that their previous affairs are truly all in the past? Or are they trying to convince themselves?
