As I turned, my eyes locked onto those crystal blue orbs for what felt like the billionth time. With his arms wrapped around me and our faces only inches apart. My golden-brown eyes bore into those blue ones begging silently for him to answer the questions I had asked only moments before but felt like an eternity.
We had done this so much, been in this position so often how was it that now suddenly things were different. I was so confused how yesterday when we were in this same position it had no effect on me, but today I could feel my skin lighting up with every inch of his body that touched mine. If I was being completely honest there were small inklings leading up to this, but I had shoved them aside so much that I was able to pretend nothing was happening.
"Yes." Was his simple response, yet it blew through me like a wave crashing across the shoreline. The happiness that blew through me wasn't something I was used to, and not something I was sure I wanted.

It hurt. "L-let me go, you, you're hurting me!" I looked up at him scared, his eyes were now completely dark, and the next thing I noticed were pointed teeth poking out from his lips. I screamed and pushed at him but he didn't budge. I then raised my knee and kneed him between the legs with all my force, and he dropped like a rock, holding his groin. Run. I took my chance. Instead, I just turned my back in order to not let anyone see my tears. I walked away from the love of my life, for what? For fate? For destiny?
