After Crepus' death, Diluc and Jean travel together, eventually winding up with a bit of a history and a home in Snezhnaya. They've settled in to life together, but when their oldest companion pays them a visit, there's no escaping the ghosts they've left in their wake.
One big change from canon is that Jean's vision is Cryo instead of Anemo. There's a reason for that, dear readers, I promise. It'll come into play more as time goes on but for now it's just a fluff element.
This is an idea I'm playing with that I like. Putting this first chapter out to test the waters. Hope you enjoy!

Aether decides to tell a story to Beresu about his travels. The Windblume Festival comes again to Mondstadt and the people are excited to celebrate it! Albedo comes down from Dragonspire to enjoy it as well, but he worries if others will accept him for his second vision. Klee is beyond excited to spend time with her big brother! Though, Dottore comes to visit and causes some trouble for the siblings. Monstadt is covered in a blanket of snow and ice as Albedo flees from everyone. Klee is determined to help her big brother and rushes to Dragonspire with Aether, Paimon, and Sucrose! Yes, this is based on Frozen. After that event, I couldn't get this idea out of my head.
