ON HOLD
"You know, I made a promise to myself a year ago that I'd never fall in love again." Niamh spoke as Leah tilted her head to position her ear at Niamh's mouth to ensure she could hear her words.
Leah chuckled and looked down at the floor before manoeuvring her neck back up to look at Niamh's round, green eyes, gazing, as they mirrored Leah's blue ones.
"Oh yeah? How's that going for you?"

#1 in women's fiction🥇
*there is no mature content other than language and alcohol consumption throughout the story*
i DO NOT own any of the lionesses, Williamsons/Bakers, I DO, however, own Niamh, her family and any additional characters alongside their storylines :)
It takes only one call for Manchester City's own goalkeeper, Louise McKay, to know she has lost her one true anchor. With the deaths of both her parents, she has to find a way to get through life.
For this story, let's assume that Leah Williamson is twenty-one years old. Otherwise, the age gap could be tricky.
Also, because we live in my fiction world, relationships are always legal, no matter the age. Yeah, that's totally realistic...
And a last thing, the timing in the story may or may not line up perfectly, I can't even remember myself what happens at what time. Just roll with that too!
