Evelyn is a normal girl who lives in a somewhat abnormal house. Her house is seemed to be haunted, and sometimes strange things would happen around there. Her father has a list of rules to prevent anything bad from happening.
But what happens when her dad leaves town for a business trip and Evelyn's older brother, Miles, throws a party at the house, and after the party most of the people who went there go missing. After that party, strange things start to happen around town as well.
(I came up with this idea a long time ago so it's kinda really bad but it's a work in progress kind of. Also everything here is a first draft so far, so any bad writing or unprofessional writing isn't set in stone)

If you want to read about "Normal" teenagers, maybe this isn't for you, it's more complicated than that. Who watched his father lose his job in the Recession and then loses his home, and how he copes, especially when he learns that their new house is haunted and the ghost is in his room. Michael was an average kid, although he's always stood out. He was a school jock but also a skater whose long blond hair almost reaches his waist. When his parents lived in a house in a home owners association like all his other friends, life seemed normal. Then his father lost his job and suddenly those "friends" weren't there anymore--except for his two best friends, Short Round and Dewey. The three are skaters, good ones, who live for girls and their skateboards. They're also basically good kids who take pride in being different without paying attention to it. When Michael loses his home and his family has to move they have his back. And they are there for him when the ghost girl starts following him around. Mariah was murdered when she was just 15, her remains were never found, although no one but her and her ghost friend, Crazy Girl, know where their bodies are buried.
