Isabel is a girl who, at this point, lives alone as her parents are almost always away on business trips or busy. On a random day she decides she needs some company that isn't the maids or butlers that work for her parents. She gets permission from her parents to get a Bitty! A popular companion that could be seen as a pet or friend. She goes to the shelter and looks around to find a Bitty, but ends up leaving with a Bitty that apparently being treated horribly.
