A short piece roughly inspired by a dream of my own, exploring sleep paralysis and a light nod to Henry Fuseli's 'The Nightmare'. I will present it live at The Edinburgh Book Festival on the 15th of August with the Citizen Collective writing group.

nightmare was getting tired of his (not brother) dream trying kill him every single day. just because he in crime list with is group cross and error. Nightmare can't trust error or cross Nightmare knew they were working for dream. nightmare had eaten a negative apples when they fallen. nightmare didn't want dream to notice some negative apples falling so he putt them in special bag and burry them so noone knew there was negative apples under them. nightmare fell strong eating one but he was oh way carefully. he hear his morther to not eat too much and he promised but sometimes promises can be easy broken after your near your point of snapping. The King's Queen (Nightmare Sans x Reader)
PLEASE READ BEFORE GETTING INTO THE STORY Description: Your name is (Y/n) and you are originally from an au called Dreamtale! Your life hadn't been the easiest however, but you were quick to always move forward despite this... Before Nightmare had become corrupted, you were his best friend and lover. You kept him from his breaking point, you maintained his sanity and most importantly... returned his love. One thing that is definitely important about yourself is that you are a selective mute... And your only desired partner for conversation is the King of Negativity himself... But what will happen once the true evil lurking within your lover drowns out whatever light he had left? What will happen when you discover that the Nightmare you knew was replaced by a monster that still somehow holds love for you? "And even with the evil finally in control of Nightmare, if both his sinister side and his old self agreed on something- then it would always be his priority... They both love her." I Found You My Dear Inkmare fanfic
When Ink is exploring the au's, he stumbles upon a new au where he meets a new friend named Nightmare. The both of them create a close bond, and Nightmare explains how the villagers mistreats him and how they treasure Dream. Ink knew Dream for awhile, but Dream never mentions Nightmare. One day Nightmare had enough of the villagers and ate the apple of negativity and leaves Dreamtale empty. When Ink comes to visit Nightmare, he sees that everyone is disappeared, and so did Nightmare. Not mention Dreams new and unusual behaviour towards Ink. Break the cycle
The Multiverse for a long time has been an endless loop. Both inside the AUs and in itself. Error and Ink making a truce then breaking it in any possible way. The Dreamtale twins fight until Nightmare dies and Dream sacrifices his soul to plant a new tree of Feelings recreating a cycle. But, among everyone, there is one person who remembers each loop that took place and after a few centuries of trying to figure out what to do, he finally got it. He will break those endless cycles and try to finally give the Multiverse some peace. This is the story of that attempt. Will it work or will it all just be another pointless attempt to change what is meant to be ? ___________________________________________________________________ This story will contain only a small amount of shipping because this is nowhere near of being the main focus, sorry.
