Pain. It's something we all feel, but some more than others. Some pain you can't see, some pain you inflict upon others to make them feel the same way. Most pain you can see, but a lot of pain is mental.

Pain is one thing Austin Mallord knows all too well. She's bullied, tormented, and has no friends because she isn't like anyone. She's different in the fact that Austin has eyes that can change color. No one knows why, but Austin knows and it makes her feel trapped in hell and no one will pull her out.

All of this pain and seclusion builds up and is too much for her to handle. Eventually, Austin snaps.
