Sophie Foster youngest daughter of King Grady and Queen Edaline of Havenfeild was sworn to marry the first born son and soon to be king of the biggest and most successful kingdom of the world, Prince Alvar Vacker of Everglem (trust I'm disgusted too and don't ship it but it provided good story idea's). Sophie when a child didn't mind this, it was her best friends older brother and he was always nice to her and seemed like a good person.  I mean yes he was like 14 years older then her but it was better then being wedded to an old man that she didn't know. That was until she ease dropped on his conversation with his best friend, Ruy. All she knew was that it was bad, really really bad. And that it included her marrying Alvar, so she did the only logical option, she ranaway.
