(Quick disclaimer: This story is about partner Green Lanterns Jessica Cruz and Simon Baz. Some think they should remain friends, and some, like myself, think that they would be perfect in a romantic relationship with one another. This story IS about the romance I think they should have, so if you are someone who thinks that they should stay good friends, please don't be rude about my opinions or anyone else's. If you can't do this, simply do not read. If you do choose to stick around, I hope you enjoy! -Hugs, TheGreenBeanLantern)
Weeks since the incidents with the Order of the Steed and Jessica getting her late friends the justice they deserve after her and Simon's run-in with Singularity Jane, Simon decides that even though he needs to be alone to get over his fear of loneliness, the woman he belongs with might be right in front of him. Jessica herself needs to figure out what-or who-she really wants, if she's going to make new connections.
P.S. It's super-duper helpful if you've read the Green Lanterns comics about Jessica and Simon up to Vol. 8 first, so that all of this makes sense. I've chosen to ignore Vol. 9, since it shows a regression in how Simon and Jessica have grown over the previous volumes; I also DESPISE the ending. 😒 Nonetheless, enjoy!
