A Burned Out Star

Amelia, better known as Lia, is the daughter of chief of engineering; Jacapo Sinclair. She was alike her father, with a friendly light and a mind full of different, bright ideas of how to live safely on the ark, yet a bit more short tempered. She soon befriends who Jacapo sees as another daughter, Raven Reyes, the youngest ZERO-G mechanic. Amelia can't help growing attached to the girl as the pair starts looking out for each other and becoming nothing more than sisters. Due to the ark's strict laws of having more than one child, Amelia never thought she'd get the chance to have someone like that. However, being devoted to someone can come at a price, whether it's a positive or negative impact. Doctor Abby Griffin recruits the two girls, without Jacapo's knowledge of the girls' safety, to rebuild a pod and fall down to earth. It was a radiated soaked planet, but the doctor believed the one hundred sent down are still alive. Desperate to save three hundred innocent people from being voted in the culling, Amelia hops at the chance, waiting to be sent down to the beautiful planet herself. When finding out that earth is indeed survivable, she gets more than she hopes for, including a fond feeling for an arrogant, dark haired leader.
