The Empire Molte has grown to its largest size ever seen; no-one wishes for this glorious time to end. In particular the Emperor, who has tasked his most trusted advisor, Nabar the First Shadower, to find a way to hold onto his power and become immortal through a rare element known as 'Strix', which flows among all living things in a balance of birth, growth, and death.
Sixteen years ago a girl was born deep in the western forest who could sense and control this balance. Orphaned at a young age, Kthti is looked after by the Watchers, who heal all people. As she enters adulthood, she finds that she has to leave; for the Emperor is looking for the power to control the Strix.
No more further updates until the book is all written - I don't think it will be done by the end of this year, as I will be on placement over the summer and then I start my final year of university this September

I'm still working on Berach's Jewel (adding in a new chapter) so I wasn't able to finish chapter 3 of this over feb. This month I have quite a few assignment dates and also my driving test! (ahhh!), so progress might be further delayed!
