She wakes up to find herself aboard an alien ship in the middle of god-knows-where, being told she has the privilege of being selected by their leader to be the bearer of his offspring. 

Escape seems impossible until the Kalraien intervene. Hated enemies of the Nennaid, her captor tries to convince her to flee with him. But Alera has other plans.

Taking a risk, she flags down this foreign race, hoping for their aid. She never imagined the adventure awaiting her with the most stunning blue alien she'd ever seen.

But nothing can be perfect. 

Bound by family duty and social status, Eosen has never been allowed to make decisions about his own future. An easy-to-forget burden until it is staring them in the face.
