Life As We Know It

“Hi… umm I guess you forgot the date we set, that’s fine, I’m okay, I guess I was just wrong about you. I know your busy and all but I thought we could make this work… today’s the day you told me you loved me if you remember, I know I’m probably sounding really desperate right  now. I just wanted to tell you I’m leaving, yeah Ryan asked me to be his co-host and I accepted so I guess I can kind of guess that we’re already broken up. I could hear her voice cracking during the message I replayed over and over again. Two years ago we were fourteen, I know right sounds silly to love at fourteen, I loved her since eight years old, that day I met her. I let her go, because the fame got to my head, I took her for granted. I thought of her as a rock, that would never let go of me even after the stupid mistakes I’ve made, I was such a dickhead. She was my first for everything, I still love her, the girl named Madison Todd.
