Theo Arthur has been missing for months. After falling out with his family on graduation, everyone figured he skipped town to get away. But what the small town of Juneau, Alaska doesn't is know the woods hide a dark secret. A secret of fangs and fur, and against his will, Theo has become part of that secret. Adjusting to now being a wild animal, Theo falls in line with the rest of his pack and it's leader Moses.

         Theo is ready to let go of any shred of humanity left in him and follow as Moses mold him to be second in command. But he can't let go of his first love, Maggi. Maggi, who is fascinated with taking pictures especially of wolves, finds herself particularly fond of one red wolf, with blue-green eyes, that lurks to close to houses and pilfers through her trash. Blue-Green eyes, that look a little too...civilized. But as Maggi gets closer to his world, in his human form Theo no longer wants to be away from her. Maggi finds herself becoming smitten with the 6'1', long, dark haired cutie, and Theo just might be falling himself.
