Everyone knows that Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi had a duel of fates on the planet Mustafar, where Kenobi triumphed and won, leaving Anakin for dead on the lava planet, whom he had cut off his arms and legs. Anakin was rescued by Darth Sidious, aka Chancellor Palpatine of the Galatic Senate. The republic became the empire. An age of darkness loomed over. Padme Amidala, Anakin's wife, gave birth to twin children, Luke Skywalker and Leia Skywalker, who would become a jedi knight in the future, the latter becoming a senator and both contributed a large part in taking down the Galatic Empire. At least, that's how it all went down in one universe.
In the great multiverse, there are infinite possibilities and outcomes of events.
Dr Stephen Strange and Wanda Maximoff had tampered with the multiverse a little too much, causing not only an incursion in the dark dimension, but also the colliding of two universes. When America Chavez opened a portal to a lava planet (which is Mustafar), I don't have to say who jumped through it, and who followed him right?
Let's say that Anakin Skywalker was shocked, to say the least, when he saw the exact duplicate of his wife, Padme, in New Asgard, turning from a frail and weak woman into the powerful mighty Thor in front of his eyes.
Anakin and Obi-Wan are in for one hell of an adventure when a man called Gorr the God Butcher shows up to kill everyone.

Palpatine, undeterred by the loss of his potential apprentice, still devises a way to create the Empire and wipe out the vast majority of the Jedi. He sends various threats directly to Anakin and Padmé to convince them that they and their newborn children are in danger. Fearing for their safety, they split. For years, Anakin and Leia wander throughout the galaxy, dodging the Empire and searching for a greater purpose. Meanwhile, Padmé raises Luke while working with Bail Organa and Mon Mothma to lead the fight against the oppressive Galactic Empire. Anakin is constantly tempted by the Dark Side. Padmé struggles to help the Rebels succeed. Their children mean everything to both of them.
