Saige Starglass was born with the ability to speak to machines, unlike her other siblings who acquired their abilities when they were 15. But on Saige's 15th birthday, she gets another ability; to see the future. And the future of her family is not good.

Saige Starglass is unusual, to say the least. She's not the most normal person, her hair is naturally lavender, and unlike everyone else in her family, she was born with magical abilities the day she was born. Usually, it's your 15th birthday when you receive a gift like hers. Nobody thinks that Saige will get a gift for her birthday. Until she does. Along with her ability to communicate with machines, she gains the gift to see the future. And the future of Saige and her family is not looking very good.
With her pet clock, her older sister Dotty, and a few friends they meet along the way, Saige is not going to let her family become ruined, like all the other magical families before.
