Sixteen year-old Dallas Attwood thinks her whole world is being turned upside down when she is forced to spend her entire summer at Camp Sapphire, an all-girls camp that appears to hold a reputation for empowerment and fun at the same time. However, looks can be quite deceiving, and Dallas quickly learns that she truly does not belong.
But it's nothing compared to what she is about to face.
All it will take is one misstep, one fateful walk in the middle of the woods that will suddenly set things in motion for Dallas. A monstrous wolf lurking around the outskirts of Camp Sapphire attacks Dallas and changes her whole life without her knowledge of it.. at least, she will realize it later. Luckily, a new friend at camp is there to assist Dallas and explain to her what exactly could be happening... but time is still running out for her.
Dallas is eager to find a cure for her newfound curse before the beast strikes again... or worse, if she becomes the very beast forever by the end of the summer.
