Baphomet: Fate of the Phantasm

The roads of Calcutta are quite the exquisite ones, the outstanding British structures co-existing with the Indian conglomerate and the narrow serpentine roads veining throughout the land has always been a topic of peak interest for various personalities to exploit. The reason may be historical or ancestral, the very roads where people irrespective of their religious believes walked behind a bard against the empire itself not very long ago...but today was different, the same precious roads are today soaked with warm red pools of blood...Lifeless bodies lying wherever eyes run to, and angry mobs rampaging lawlesssly throughout purging whoever comes in front of their eyes. But a particular narrow was rather quite, but was congested with havildars surrounding a particular building. The building was broken and old with vines running through the walls but one room was intact with ofcourse the havildars pointing their guns straight at the door.
Why you ask? A supposed wanted criminal is inside the room sitting with an officer interrogating him. The person in question is no ordinary criminal, but one known especially for his brutal notoriety as the devil himself...Or the Baphomet as the Britishers named him. No matter who or what he was, his being and exploits painted the moon above every night in blood red colour, showering the land with innocent blood as if it were a sacrifice meant for somebody...
But how did this chain of event suffice? How a legend of beyond three decades ended up on the other end of the gunpoint?
To understand that, we need to rewind the time dial back to how the legend began thirty years ago...
