Moriya: The Shadow With Shifting Eyes

Within The 7 Spheres there is a Planet called Aves, where the human races have the Appearance, some Characteristics and a close Affiliation with the Birds their homes are named for.

The Fledgling Isles have 13 thriving provinces, each with a Master and Misstress to care for their peoples.

And the world is Changing, Growing, Exspanding, and New Life is Taking Root.

There once was a Prophecy, or a Song, or a Poem-it has since been forgotten which-that said in a certain year, in a certain hour on a certain day, a Child would be born who would Make or Break the world.

When the Misstress of Rook castle gave birth to Her second daughter, She claimed the girl had been born the day after the certain time, and hence couldn't possibly be The Child.

But She Lied.

The only Lie she had ever Felt, Thought or Spoken.

She Lied to Protect Her Child, who She Knew was The One. And was in ever so much danger because of it.

And everyone suspected She had Lied.

But nobody said so, for they knew better than to disrespect She who was so Unequivocally Pure, so Whole Heartedly Loved, and who everyone knew did not Lie.

And so they pretended to believe her, and agree, that Moriya couldn't possibly be The Child, for how could the Prophecy mistake the certain time?

Or Song, or Poem, Nobody quite remembered.

But they suspected and deep down, they knew. For who else could it be, but that Shadow with Shifting Eyes? Who else, but Moriya Khole?
