Louis Tomlinson (28), the most strict cop there is in the Phoenix Police Department. He never lets his guard down and he is always one step ahead of everyone. If he's not fighting crime, then he's with his 4 year old daughter Darcy. He's a single dad who lost his spouse due to a tragic car accident. Ever since that sad day, Louis has refused to get another partner since his late wife was his last one.

Harriet Styles (26) a newcomer to the police department and everyone thought that she wasn't going to make it. They thought that she would crumble because of how scary Louis could get, but they were wrong. She's basically him, but in a female body. She's strict and wise. She's quick and she never falters. The only time that she does is when she is with her 5 year old son, Benjamin and her 3 year old daughter, Emma.

Their father's are out of the picture. She has been a victim of abuse and rape with Ben's father for 3 years before she caught a grip and fought back. He's currently in prison and Harriet promises to keep him locked up for a long time. She thought that it would last with Emma's father (they were engaged), but after a shooting occurring in Delsburry Ink Co., her lover became one of the victims who passed in the shooting. After that, Harriet refuses to let another man into her life, scared that they'll either hurt her or get killed.
