While on vacation with her family at their cottage, she walks into an antique shop after seeing an old watch in the window display. After hearing the story the store owner was told, she goes home and thinks about it all week, until she eventually goes back to buy it. True or not, she had planned to buy the watch anyway. Knowing that, realistically, the story couldn't be true, she still can't help but wonder if maybe, just maybe, it was a possibility. When her friends arrive, she shares the story with them, and they end up going on the adventure of a lifetime.
