Carla Rosenblood and her longtime childhood friend, Brian Banks, are two teens trying to live normal lives in the bustling streets of Los Angeles, California. Carla is a massive fan of The Viper, a superhero who has recently risen to prominence for her bravery in stopping Dr. Duncan Drevis's plans, and longs to gain powers just like her someday. Unfortunately, Carla's life isn't all sunshine and rainbows; her mother, Martha Rosenblood, passed away in her youth, and her father, Dave, has gotten over it quickly and began dating again, much to her devastation; to make matters worse, her younger brother Murray won't stop pulling annoying pranks on her. After learning that her grandfather, Alfred Rosenblood, has left his massive estate to both his children and grandchildren to be split upon his death, Dave, Carla, and Murray travel to Romania to check out the house. While Dave is intent on selling the property in order to get his family out of financial trouble, Carla and Murray become attached to it and go against his wishes. On top of that, there are rumors floating around that werewolves might be roaming around the area, and after Carla is infected one night, things begin to change very quickly. Could she be turning into one of those superheroes that she's admired for so long?
