A villain is a person who does villainess acts & a hero is a person who does heroic acts. A villain must hate
all heroes and the other way around. Correct? Our young protagonists' crisis due to not knowing if they wish to proceed as the good guy or the bad guy and with them starting to head into adulthood makes it all the trickery.
