Will Byers was tired of it all. He had fallen in love with his best friend, hopelessly in love. Mike didn't love him back though. he had a girlfriend, Will's sister El. Mike ignored him for her. No more DND no more hanging out. He was sick of it. He was tired of the monsters. And of course Mike had found a new DND club back in Hawkins, because apparently he had time for them not him. Max was in a coma. The whole town of Hawkins was fusing with the upside down. They would have to fight monsters again. All while Mike and El were sucking each others faces off and he had to watch. Miserable. Longing for a world where he could feel normal and not weird or different from other people. A world where he didn't have to fight monsters every year. World where he wasn't traumatized by his time in the upside down or when he was possessed by the MindFlayer. He wanted a normal life. But not everyone has a happy ending do they?
