Arackniss practically controls everything in the Family, and so it's no wonder that after 50 years, or so, he'd be stressed. Meeting an insane snake was the last thing he thought he needed, but the more time he spends with the man, the more he finds out about himself. Falling for Pentious is a mistake, especially with a skimmer on the loose trying to take him down. This relationship could get them cleansed, so why does ending it scare him so much?

Alastor has been Evangeline's best friend for three years and wants nothing more than for Peter to be out of the picture.
