Free Falling

in this world. you have wings, you're born with them and you die with them, if you didn't fly, you didn't fit in. And I'm not talking about Superman flight or rocket boots; In today's world, we have actual wings, wings of birds, insects, dragons, basically anything imaginable. And me?, well, I'm a crow, nobody really likes crows.

Did I mention yet that I'm terrified of flying? well more specifically falling, so I usually stay on the ground whether I want to or not. (I do, it's safer)

I don't have many friends because of this, but i don't mind. I'd rather have people care about *me* then people only caring about my status and abilities.

I've just got enough saved for this new place to finish school, let's hope this isn't a second hell of middle school. then again, anything is better then my old home life. *deep breath* alright, here we go.

I am determined to show the world that flying doesn't determine a person. Even if I have to die in the end because of it.
